One the first product created by our artificial intelligence laboratory is a chatbot. « MarcoPolo », our internal project name, has been tested by our colleagues for several months and adopted by our society.
Why a « chatbot » solution?
First of all, we have decided to work on a conversational bot solution to bring to our clients a product that can help them to save time. What do i mean by « save time »? Most of our tasks jobs can be automated, such as integrating a document (invoices, expense reports, etc.) into a cloud solution.
According to a study, 80% of companies will use chatbots to manage their customer interactions by 2020(1). In this economic paradigm boosted by new technologies, conversational agents and artificial intelligence represent a small revolution: their availability, speed and precision make them essential tools. While companies may still think they are expensive and complex to implement, they have a strong interest in leveraging these technologies today to prepare for the future.
A first step towards artificial intelligence
Chatbots are a first step towards raising awareness of the real potential of artificial intelligence. Indeed, to be fully effective, their implementation can be a first step in the construction of a multi-service platform. These new « technology hubs » could host conversational agents and allow the development of applications dedicated to specific needs with AI. That’s why we work on it!
