Axys Consultants, UNICEF friend company.
To invest in a better future and mould the executives of tomorrow, we take care to ensure the good health and education of children today. This was the reason behind AXYS Consultants’ 2009 decision to become a “UNICEF friend company” where, through its donations, it participates in rehabilitating schools across the globe, particularly in Niger’s education programme since 2013. The ambition is one of improving the quality of basic education in the primary schools in especially disadvantaged countries.
Since 2014, Axys Consultants has been signatory of the Global Compact promoted by the UN. This pact unifies companies, the United Nations and community players around a collection of fundamental values, placed under 10 universal principals of the Global Compact, covering 4 areas:
Les entreprises signataires s’engagent à : promouvoir et respecter les droits de l’homme dans leur sphère d’influence et veiller à ne pas se faire complices de violations des droits fondamentaux.
Companies are asked to respect freedom of association and acknowledge collective bargaining rights, support the elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labour, support the effective abolition of child labour and support the elimination of employment discrimination.
Companies are asked to apply a precautionary approach related to problems affecting the environment, take initiatives favouring more responsible environmental practices, foster the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies.
Fight against corruption
Companies are asked to act against corruption in all of its forms, including extortion and bribery.
