Our recognized CSR commitments

Axys awarded Engagé RSE & Responsibility Europe label
We are proud to announce that Axys has obtained an overall score of 659/1000 in the Engagé RSE assessment, corresponding to a “confirmed” level of maturity.
This distinction recognizes the collective commitment of our teams and the solidity of our approach to social responsibility. It confirms that our CSR strategy is not only well-structured, but also has impact and meaning.
At Axys, we firmly believe that a responsible company is one that takes concrete action for a sustainable future. This label is an important step, but above all a lever to take our commitment even further.
What is the “Engagé RSE” label?
The Engagé RSE label, issued by AFNOR Certification, is one of the most demanding in terms of corporate social responsibility in France, and is also recognized internationally through the Responsibility Europe brand.
We have joined a community of over 750 #EngagéRSE-labeled organizations in France and abroad, and more than 1,000 have already embarked on the certification process.
Valid for three years, with a mid-term reassessment, it is based on a rigorous on-site assessment, carried out by an independent CSR expert assessor commissioned by AFNOR. The standard is based on over 50 criteria derived from ISO 26000 and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Unlike a simple self-declaration or online questionnaire, this label involves :
- Interviews with our employees at all levels of the organization
- Exchanges with our external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, partners, shareholders, etc.).
- A progress plan to be implemented before re-evaluation within 18 months.
Providing objective evidence on how we manage our social, environmental and economic impacts

The 7 areas assessed are the pillars of ISO 26000:
- Organizational governance
- The Human rights
- Relationships and working conditions
- The Environment
- Fair practices
- Consumer issues
- Communities and local development
The criteria cover :
- CSR strategy and its integration into corporate governance
- Managing the risks and opportunities associated with sustainable development
- Stakeholder involvement
- Measuring social, environmental and economic impacts
- Transparency and communication of commitments
- Capacity for innovation and continuous improvement
- Local roots and contribution to the common good
Each criterion is rated according to a level of maturity, ranging from simple awareness to full, proven integration into the organization’s practices.

Related question:
How does the organization’s management integrate sustainable development issues into its strategy, governance and decision-making processes?
What the assessor looks for:
- The existence of a clear, shared vision of CSR within management
- The involvement of top management in defining and steering CSR strategy
- Consistency between CSR commitments and strategic decisions
- Transparency in communicating results and impacts
Maturity levels: a guide to progress
During the Engagé RSE assessment, each criterion is rated according to a level of maturity. This approach enables us to situate the organization on a scale of progression, from the initial stage to complete and exemplary integration of CSR.
Here are the 4 maturity levels used:
Initial
The organization is aware of CSR issues, but actions are ad hoc or poorly formalized. Example: isolated actions exist, but without an overall strategy.
Structured
A CSR approach is in place, with defined objectives, identified resources and the beginnings of a steering committee. For example, indicators are tracked and stakeholders identified.

Advanced
CSR is integrated into decision-making processes, practices are consistent and results are measured. Example: CSR strategy influences investment and development decisions.

Exemplary
CSR is fully integrated into the organization’s culture, with proven, shared results and the ability to inspire others.Example: the organization is recognized for its best practices and acts as a driver of transformation in its sector.
The aim of assessment is not to punish, but to support the organization in a continuous improvement process. It helps to identify strengths and areas for improvement, and to build a realistic and ambitious action plan.
Why did we choose this label?
As a company, we are aware of our role and responsibility in building a sustainable, positive-impact economy. To achieve this, we need to ensure that our CSR approach is not only relevant and impactful, but also credible and robust.
That’s why we chose the Engagé RSE label, for its global scope, demanding methodology and concrete added value. It reflects our determination to :
- Structure our CSR approach in a comprehensive and coherent manner
- Dialogue with our stakeholders to better understand their expectations
- Guarantee the quality of our commitment to our internal and external stakeholders
- Continuous progress in controlling our impacts.
An associate has her say
“This certification is much more than a label: it is recognition of our collective commitment. It validates our efforts to integrate CSR at the heart of our strategy and our businesses. The Engagé RSE label encourages us to go further, to remain vigilant and to make progress. It’s a step, not an end in itself.
